  1. How long have you taught at O’Hara? 29 years
  2. Why do you like the grade you currently teach? It really is an amazing grade to teach…they have the foundations for education in place and are ready to spread their wings and soar! Watching them immerse themselves in learning and achieve success is truly a gift every day.
  3. When is your birthday? May 9th
  4. Are you from this area or did you grow up elsewhere? I grew up in Churchill and was in the last graduating class of Churchill Area before it became part of Woodland Hills What brought you to Pittsburgh/Fox Chapel? A good friend who worked for the district asked me to get on the substitute list.
  5. In your free time, where do you like to go? We have a cottage in the Laurel Highlands that we visit with family and friends quite often. What do you like to do? Taking walks, playing games, and spending time with the family.
  6. What are your favorite ways to relax/pamper yourself? I love to read, watch movies, and spend time with my family
  7. What is your favorite team or sport? Pittsburgh Penguins
  8. What is your favorite color? green
  9. What is your favorite place to vacation? St. Johns. It is a beautiful, small, relaxing island
  10. What is your favorite sweet treat and/or snack? Unfortunately, everything : ( I especially love peanut M&M’s & popcorn
  11. What is your favorite season? Summer. Warm weather and time to reconnect with friends and family
  12. What are your favorite spots to visit in Pittsburgh? I love musicals/shows at Benedium or Heinz Hall, The Zoo, Phipps
  13. What is your favorite meal and restaurant? So hard to pick just one… Probably Whisper’s Pub and the grilled portobello wrap w/ sweet potato fries and a glass of chardonnay : )
  14. What is your favorite flower? Stargazer Lily
  15. What are your most needed classroom supplies? Kleenex, Dry Erase Markers, and Band-Aids
  16. What is your favorite coffee pod flavor? I am not a coffee drinker, however I do like Coffee Tree’s mocha frozacinno
  17. Is there anything special or interesting about you that you would like to share with us? I am a first time grandma and am LOVING it!
