Spring Basket Raffle

Each spring the PTO hosts a student favorite Basket Raffle fundraiser. Gift baskets are assembled with donations from our generous O’Hara families. Each homeroom is given a theme and students are asked to bring in items specific to that theme. Students are given one ticket and can purchase additional raffle tickets to try to win a basket.

Gift Basket Guidelines

  • The PTO asks students to bring donations of NEW items, specific to their selected classroom theme (listed below), to their classroom collection baskets.
  • Donations DO NOT need to be expensive. For example, if your child has “Family Road Trip” you could send in a card game, snacks, and/or book.

Dates and Ticket Sale Information

  • Friday, March 1 – Thursday, March 14: Collection of donated items in your classrooms
  • Friday, March 15 – Thursday, March 21: Baskets on display and online tickets sales usingthe QR code or https://form.jotform.com/240507527665157
  • Lunchtime ticket Sales:
    • Friday, March 15th – 4th & 5th grade sales
    • Monday, March 18th – 2nd & 1st grade sales
    • Tuesday, March 19th – Kindergarten sales
    • Wednesday, March 20th – 3rd grade sales
    • Thursday, March 21st – All grades! (and at Showcase Night, 5-7pm)
  • Thursday, March 21: Baskets will be displayed and tickets sales will take place from 5-7pm at Showcase Night.
  • Parents, staff, and students may purchase tickets: 1 for $1, 15 for $10, and 35 for $20. Each child receives one free ticket!
  • Cash or a check made out to OEPTO can be sent with your child for payment. Online orders will be fulfilled and sent to your child’s classroom. Please use an envelope with your child’s name to secure cash or check.
  • We ask that students write their full name and teacher’s name on each ticket.
  • Friday, March 22: Winning tickets will be drawn. The lucky winners will be notified by email and social media.

All donations to the basket fundraiser go directly to the PTO. Last year, we raised close to $10,000, which allowed the school to provide both teachers and students with many needed items. Over the years, this fundraiser has provided O’Hara with the new playground, courtyard tables, playground equipment, date books, assemblies, and teacher stipends used for classroom supplies and instructional resources.

Fourth Grade

DiFrancesca-Fun with Writing (paper, note cards, pencils, pens, stamps, stickers, etc.)
Hurlbut- “Kids Stu” Gift Cards (places kids love to shop or eat)
